We started TitanCore for one reason: we wanted to know exactly what was touching our food. So we built the pan we couldn't find anywhere else.
It started with a pan I had to throw away.
One evening I was making eggs for my daughter when I noticed tiny flakes lifting off the bottom of our nonstick pan. We'd had it less than a year. I looked up what the coating was actually made of — and what happens to it when it overheats or scratches. I didn't finish cooking that night.
I thought replacing it would be simple. It wasn't. Every "safe" pan I found was either coated with something new I couldn't pronounce, or so heavy and finicky that nobody in my house would ever use it. The honest answer didn't exist on a shelf, so I went looking for it myself.
That search took me somewhere I never expected: titanium. The same material trusted in aerospace and surgical tools — strong, inert, and with no coating to flake, leach, or wear away. The problem was making it cook beautifully at home. That took two years, more failed prototypes than I'd like to admit, and a small team who believed a pan could be both honest and a joy to use.

The night that started it
A scratched nonstick pan, a plate of eggs, and a question that wouldn't go away: what exactly is flaking into our food? The search for an honest answer became an obsession.
Finding the material
After dead ends with ceramics and coatings, the answer came from an unlikely place — aerospace-grade titanium. Inert, incredibly strong, and with nothing to wear away. Now we just had to make it cook.
Two years of prototypes
Heat distribution, surface texture, weight, balance — we tested over a hundred versions in real home kitchens. The rule was simple: zero coatings, zero PFAS, or it didn't ship. Most didn't.
Beyond one kitchen
What began as one family's problem turned out to be everyone's. Home cooks across Europe, the UK and beyond switched to titanium — and never looked back. The Dreamteam grew to match.
